Jean-Guillaume Brasier
I am a product-focused data scientist and machine learning lead with more than six years of experience building AI systems across biopharma, manufacturing, regulatory operations, and biomedical research.
I am currently a Senior Data Scientist II at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where I lead machine learning initiatives for Biopharmaceutical Sciences and Manufacturing Operations. My work spans cell and gene therapy, probabilistic digital twins, regulatory intelligence, and production generative AI systems.
Previously, I was a Data Scientist and Tech Lead at Moderna, building AI products for manufacturing and quality. I also conducted research in the Zitnik Lab at Harvard Medical School, where I developed geometric deep learning methods for protein representation and TCR-pMHC binding prediction.
I earned an M.S. in Data Science from Harvard University and an M.Eng. in Physics from ESPCI Paris - PSL University. My interests lie at the intersection of AI, graphs, probabilistic modeling, biology, and the physical sciences.
